It's been a long time since I posted on here, and a LOT has been going on. To sum up, I worked for a year at 2K as a game tester (good fun) and have since been working on many side projects as an artist, including Guncraft, Roblox, and our own game (co-created under Melty Games) RadHotel! Currently I'm hard at work on Throw Trucks With Your Mind! and having a blast. But really, I can't believe it's possible to be so busy and yet SO BROKE.
In non-professional news, I got engaged this year! We have to wait till August, but it'll be exciting!
But look now - it's 2014! In the spirit of this new year, I have a New Year's resolution to draw more. Much more. I've let my art go by the way side, and I can tell in every respect. I have some exciting personal projects in the works, but not having drawn as often as I'd like, I'm painfully out of practice. THE PLAN is to draw every day - at least a doodle. So hopefully, I'll find adequate time every week to post my drawings. Well... truthfully, I have to MAKE myself. Wish me luck!
Here's a doodle to start! Happy New Year!
(Soon enough I will post samples of all the things I've been working on over the past TWO YEARS. O_o)

See you later, Jack.
It's been a busy year or 3d-ing and working at 2K Games. I'll post some more work soon.
A little over a week ago I received sad news. Jack Bosson, my teacher for the Zoological Drawing course I took last year, has passed away. I had only seen him the weekend before when out of the blue I decided to meet he and his class at the zoo to draw. I am still in disbelief that he is gone; he is greatly missed. He was a great teacher, to say the least.
Somewhat on subject, here are some compilations of animal drawings I did during and after his course.

Blog gets no love!
Hi, Blog! I'm sorry you've been neglected all this time. I promise there was good reason for it!
Look at all this stuff I've been hard at work on!

Sabrewulf was my favorite character in Killer Instinct Gold -- I played that game all the time once our neighbor lent it to us. He's not finished at all, but I have to put him on hold for now so I can work on more pressing projects.
I've been working on so much 3D I haven't been drawing much, but here's a doodle I did earlier this year.

Do you forgive me, Blog? I promise I'll be posting much more artwork very, very soon.
Love, Lynda
P.S. - Later this September I'll be attending an animal-drawing class at Gnomon. Expect lots of animal drawings. :)

New 3D!
Wow, it's been awhile! I should probably post some art, huh? I've HAVE been doing some!
So, as of yesterday my Gnomon class is over. It was amazing! I feel very proficient with ZBrush now. Expect many more 3D sculpts!
As for my final project... here it is! It was so much fun to do. I'm quite proud of it. :)

And here's a turnaround...
A larger version can be found on my Vimeo here.
I'm surprised I never posted this... this is a painting I did for my sister for Christmas. It's her D&D character, and she absolutely loved it. It was wonderful.

And here's one of my own D&D characters... D&D is very good for me because (1) I get to create lots of characters, and (2) it gets me to draw. A lot.

That's all for now... I'll try to update more frequently.
